NEPSE Manages To Close Green: 5.71 Points Up While Turnover Declined to Rs. 3.044 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,178.81 today after gaining 5.71 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.26%. The index lost 9.01 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,175.3 and made an intraday low of 2,163.14. While it went as high as 2,192.71, it ultimately closed at 2,178.81.

246 scrips traded hands via 58,665 transactions. A total of 8,247,646 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.044 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 4.928 Arba.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 18.04 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 845 per share. The shares of NIFRA traded the most.

Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Kumari Dhanabriddhi Yojana (KDBY) lost the highest 8.89% today.

Six sector indices closed green, "Trading" gained the highest 2.68% while "Hotel and Tourism" lost the highest 1.09% today.
