NEPSE Manages To Close Green: 4.55 Points Up While Turnover Stood at Rs 2.525 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,027.19 today after gaining 4.55 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.22%. The index lost 57.74 points last Thursday.

Today the index opened at 2,016.54 and made the intraday low at 1,961.24. While it went as high as 2,029.66 and ultimately closed at 2,027.19.

262 scrips traded hands via 50,532 transactions. A total of 6,515,852 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.525 Arba in turnover amount. This is a bit higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.522 Arba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.58 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,330 per share. The shares of AHPC traded the most.

Vijaya laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (VLBS) gained the highest 7.94% for the day.

Conversely, Citizens Mutual Fund -1 (CMF1) lost the highest 7.85% today.

Five sector indices closed red, "Trading" lost the highest 1.4% each while "Microfinance" gained the highest 2.78% today.
