NEPSE Manages To Close Green: 1.85 Points Up While Turnover Stood at Rs 1.135 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,953.06 today after gaining 1.85 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.09%. The index lost 24.68 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,950.41 and it made an intraday low at 1,939.32. While it went as high as 1,965.19 and ultimately closed at 1,953.06.

255 scrips traded hands via 26,473 transactions. A total of 3,318,108 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.135 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.162 Arba.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.48 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 764 per share.

Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UNLB) gained the highest 10% and hit positive for the day.

Conversely, NIC Asia Balanced Fund (NICBF) lost the highest 5.64% today.

Five sector indices closed red, "Finance" gained the highest 0.98% while "Trading" lost the highest 2.38% today.
