NEPSE Manages To Close Green: 1.54 Points Up While Turnover Declined to Rs 1.931 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,096.08 today after gaining 1.54 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.07%. The index lost 22.12 points last Thursday.
Today the index opened at 2,096.7 and made an intraday high of 2,118.27. It went as low as 2,087.69 and ultimately closed at 2,096.08.
258 scrips traded hands via 39,187 transactions. A total of 5,206,370 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.931 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.096 Arba.
Nepal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (NLIC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.44 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 732 per share. The shares of KBL traded the most.
Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit.
Conversely, Eastern Hydropower Limited (EHPL) lost the highest 5.45% today.
Five sector indices closed red, "Trading" lost the highest 0.77% while "Finance" gained the highest 1.61% today.
