NEPSE Manages To Close Green: 1.02 Points Up While Turnover Declined to Rs 81.62 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,919.42 today after gaining 1.02 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.05%. The index gained 12.10 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,920.09 and went intraday low of 1,901.62. In contrast, it went as high as 1,922.04 and ultimately closed at 1,919.42.

258 scrips traded hands via 25,413 transactions. A total of 2,539,048 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 81.62 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.443 Arba. This is the lowest volume since 14th December 2022. The NEPSE index was hovering around 1800 at the time, with a turnover of Rs 72.78 crore. 

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.56 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 689 per share. The shares of GBIMEP traded the most.

 

Supermai Hydropower Limited (SMH) gained the highest 10% followed by KDL with 9.99%.

Conversely, Khaptad Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KLBS) has lost the highest 4.41% today.

Five sector indices closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest 1.34% while "Trading" lost the highest 0.89% today.
