NEPSE Makes All-Time High With Highest Intraday Turnover in History

The NEPSE index gained a significant 50.13 points today and closed at 2,906.89. This is the highest closing in the entire history of NEPSE. The index opened at 2,884.07 and did not trade at anything lower than that. While it went as high as 2,918.11, it went down to 2,906.89 by the time the market closed today, which is still the all-time high closing in NEPSE's history.

37,455,189 shares traded hands via 171,060 transactions. The trading of 218 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 17.271 Arba. This is the highest intraday turnover ever recorded in Nepal's capital market. NEPSE had created the highest intraday turnover recorded in the history of NEPSE of Rs. 17.028 Arba last Sunday.

While the float index gained 4.11 points and closed at 201.35, the Sensitive index is at 520.99 after gaining 7.88 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 1.21 Arba.

Four companies have closed at the upper limit of 10% intraday gain today.

On the other side of things, Radhi Bidyut Company Limited (RADHI) lost the most 8.56%.

Six sectors lost today and seven others closed green. Hydropower lost the most 1.63% and Investment gained the most 2.97%, followed by Banking that gained an equally impressive 3.66%.
