NEPSE Makes All-Time High With Highest Intraday Turnover Ever Recorded

The NEPSE index gained a minimal 3.07 points today and created a new all-time high at 2,823.06. The index had closed at 2,820.00 yesterday.
The index opened at 2,844.01 and immediately made the intraday high at 2,850.55. With the intraday low at 2,808, the index ultimately closed at the all-time high closing at 2,823.06.
27,140,202 shares traded hands via 1,36,499 transactions. The trading of 216 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 13.175 Arba. This is the highest intraday turnover recorded in the history of NEPSE.
While the float index gained 0.13 points and closed at 194.37, the Sensitive index is at 508.49 after gaining 1.31 points.
Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited (HIDCL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 1.26 Arba.
The three highest gainers have technically closed at the upper limit of 10% gain today.
On the other side of things, Excel Development Bank Limited (EDBL) lost the most 4.47%.
Five sectors gained while all others lost today. Non-Life Insurance gained the most 1.39% while Finance lost the most 2.2%.
