NEPSE Loses Minimal 5.57 Points From All-Time High Closing Created Yesterday; 7 Companies Hit 10% Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index lost 5.57 points today and closed at 2,326.90. Just yesterday, the index had created a new all-time high close at 2,332.31.

16,305,141 shares traded hands via 57,980 transactions. The trading of 206 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 7.46 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 6.31 Arba. The index opened at 2,361.99 today.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 91.97 crores. The units of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-2 (SIGS2) traded the most.

A total of 7 companies have technically hit a 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Support Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMB) lost the most 7.74%.

Three sectors gained and nine others closed red. While Finance gained the most 3.57%, the sector "Others" lost the most 1.51%.
