NEPSE loses minimal 3.63 points and closes at 1,582.12; Total turnover of Rs. 2.578 Arba while two companies hit 10% positive circuit

The NEPSE index lost 3.63 points and ultimately closed at 1,582.12 today.

Overall 14.24 points volatility was witnessed in the trading session, with the highest point being 1,594.89 and the lowest being 1,580.65. 

9,518,765 shares exchanged hands via 39,587 transactions. The trading of 193 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs. 2.578 Arba.

While the float index lost, the Sensitive index closed green. The Float index lost 0.23 points and closed at 109.96 while the Sensitive index is at 312.46 after gaining 0.11 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) had the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 14.91 crores. Meanwhile, the shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most. HDHPC also gained an impressive 7.63% today.

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) and Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited (RRHP) hit a 10% positive circuit.

On the other hand, Progressive Finance Limited (PROFL) lost the most 7.19%.

Five sectors gained while seven lost today. Hydropower gained the most 2.14% and Manufacturing/Products lost the most 1.67%.
