NEPSE Loses Minimal 3.4 Points and Closes at 2,458.48; Momentum Slowing Down; Is This the End of the Correction?

The NEPSE index lost a minimal 3.4 points today and closed at 2,458.48. The index opened at 2,476.93 and briefly made an intraday high at 2,477.71. The index lost in intraday action today, going as low as 2,446.33. With this, total volatility of 31.38 points was observed in the trading session today.

7,816,874 shares traded hands via 46,948 transactions. The trading of 205 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.1 Arba.

While the float index lost 0.76 points and closed at 168.95, the Sensitive index is at 445.23 after gaining 0.02 points.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 55.7 crores. Its shares also traded the most.

Chandragiri Hills Limited (CGH) and Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited (RRHP) lost the most 4.6%.

Six sectors lost and seven others gained. While Trading gained the most 8.15%, Non-Life Insurance lost the most 1.01%.
