NEPSE Loses Minimal 0.02% to Close at 2,040.70; Seven Sector Indices Close Green Led By HydroPower

The NEPSE index closed at 2,040.70 today after losing 0.36 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.02%. The index had lost 24.83 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,043.62 points and went intraday low at 2,035.38. Then, the index went intraday high at 2,053.09 and ultimately closed at 2,040.70.

220 scrips traded hands via 26,199 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,497,881 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.405 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.734 Arba.

Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 18.43 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 644 per share.

Swet-Ganga Hydropower & Construction Limited (SGHC) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) lost the highest 5.14% today.

Seven out of thirteen sector indices closed green, "HydroPower" gained the highest 0.68% while "Life Insurance" lost the highest 0.48% each.
