NEPSE Loses in Double Digits Again, Volume Stood at Rs. 3.49 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,050.78 today after losing 14.05 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.68%. The index lost 26.56 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,067.21 and then made the intraday high at 2,082.97. In contrast, it went as low as 2,043.84 and ultimately closed at 2,050.78.
271 scrips traded hands via 59,813 transactions. A total of 8,651,164 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.49 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 4.11 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 23.06 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 545.50 per share.
City Hotel Limited (CITY) gained the highest 9.97% and technically hit the positive circuit today.
Conversely, Green Ventures Limited (GVL) lost the highest 6.98% today.
Only four sector indices closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest 4.84% while "Hydropower" lost the highest 1.62% today.
