NEPSE Loses Further 23.60 Points To Close at 2,046.81; Only Two Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,046.81 today after losing 23.60 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.14%. The index lost 21.15 points last Thursday.

Today the index opened at 2,069.67 and made an intraday high of 2,069.78. It went as low as 2,040.18 and ultimately closed at 2,046.81.

258 scrips traded hands via 38,415 transactions. A total of 6,091,353 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.947 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.684 Arba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 20.82 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,390 per share. The shares of NMB50 traded the most.

Rapti Hydro And General Construction Limited (RHGCL) gained the highest 10% and positive circuit for the day.

Conversely, Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha Ltd (JBLB) lost the highest 9.15% today.

Only two sector indices closed green, "Mutual Fund" gained the highest 0.79% each while "Manufacturing and Processing" lost the highest 3.20% today.
