NEPSE Loses Further 16.61 Points To Close at 1,917.28; Only "Hotels And Tourism" Closed Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,917.28 today after losing 16.61 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.86%. The index lost 4.87 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,935.08 and made an intraday high of 1,936.39. It then made an intraday low of 1,916.19 and ultimately closed at 1,917.28.

246 scrips traded hands via 20,031 transactions. A total of 8,092,719 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.654 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 96.52 Crores.

Sanima Bank Ltd. Promoter Share (SNMAPO) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 67.02 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 151 per share.

Khaptad Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KLBS) gained the highest 6.09% for the day.

On the other side of things, Nadep Laghubittiya Bittya Sanstha Ltd. (NADEP) almost lost all 9.99% today.

Only sector closed green, "Hotels And Tourism" gained 0.01% while "Banking" lost the highest by 1.28%.
