NEPSE Loses Double Digits to Close at 1,888.27; Three Scrips Lose All They Could For The Day

The NEPSE index closed at 1,888.27 today after losing 26.87 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.40%. The index lost 18.15 points last Thursday.
Today the index opened at 1,915.32 which is also an intraday high. In contrast, it went as low as 1,881.07 and ultimately closed at 1,888.27.
259 scrips traded hands via 32,168 transactions. A total of 3,754,334 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.289 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.413 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 8.62 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,843 per share. The shares of NICGF traded the most.
Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited (MKHC) gained the highest 9.99% followed by Asian Hydropower Limited (AHL) with 9.98%.
Conversely, three scrips lost all 10% today.
All sector indices closed red, "Mutual Fund" lost the highest 4.77% while "Others" lost the least 0.28% today.
