NEPSE Loses Double Digits Again to Close at 1,912.69; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 83.16 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,912.69 today after losing 13.59 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.71%. The index had lost 11.47 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,926.45 and went intraday high at 1,928.71. Then the index made intraday low at 1,906.75 and ultimately closed at 1,912.69.

225 scrips traded hands via 20,558 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,613,540 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 83.16 Crores in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 74.72 Crores.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 4.07 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 755 per share. The shares of Sunrise First Mutual Fund (SFMF) traded the most.

United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited. (UMRH) gained the highest 4.17% for the day.

On the other side of things, 10.5 % NEPAL INVESTMENT DEBENTURE 2082 (NIBD2082) lost the highest 9.58% today.

Only one sector closed green, "Mutual fund" gained 0.12% while "Others" lost the highest 1.7%.
