NEPSE Loses Double Digits Again to Close at 1,893.53; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 84.37 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,893.53 today after losing 31.21 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.62%. The index had gained 39.93 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1925.46 and went intraday high at 1,926.99. It then made an intraday low at 1,889.70 and ultimately closed at 1,893.53.

229 scrips traded hands via 20,420 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,034,483 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 84.37 Crores in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 1.253 Arba.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.39 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 782. The shares of Nepal Credit And Commercial Bank Limited (NCCB) traded the most.

Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) and Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1) gained the highest 10% each and hit a positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited (UMRH) lost 6.48% today.

All sector indices closed green, and “Development Bank" lost the highest 2.75% while "Mutual Fund" lost the least 0.85%.
