NEPSE loses 9.42 points and closes at 1,568.59; Total turnover shrinks to Rs. 1.81 Arba

The NEPSE index lost 9.42 points from yesterday's close and ultimately closed at 1,568.59.

NEPSE opened at 1,583.29, gained a tiny bit, and made the intraday high of 1,584.28. The intraday low of 1,567.23 is also only slightly lower than the market close.

6,782,947 shares exchanged hands via 28,640 transactions. The trading of 193 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs. 1.81 Arba.

The float index lost 0.74 points and closed at 109.13 while the Sensitive index is 311.41 at after losing 1.7 points.

Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 11.26 crores. Meanwhile, the shares of Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited (JBBL) traded the most. JBBL also gained the most 4.83% followed by Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK) that gained 3.33%.

On the other hand, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) lost the most 8.72%, followed by Dibyashwari Hydropower Company Limited (DHPL) which lost 7.5%.

Three sectors gained today and all others closed red. Mutual Fund gained the most 0.45% and Hydropower lose the most 2.04%.
