NEPSE loses 9.04 points and closes at 1,995.35; Hydropower leads with 4.81% sector gain

The NEPSE index lost 9.04 points and closed at 1,995.35 today.
The index opened at 2,033.97. Total volatility of 65.28 points was observed, with the highest being 2,047.35 and the lowest being 1,982.07.
12,566,961 shares traded hands via 48,801 transactions. Trading of 202 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.71 Arba.

The float index lost 0.23 points and closed at 135.13 while the Sensitive index is at 380.18 after losing 2.59 points.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 45.81 crores. The shares of Global IME Bank Limited Promoter Share (GBIMEP) traded the most today.

The top four gainers technically hit a 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Everest Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (EICPO) hit a 10% negative circuit.


Only Hydropower and Mutual Funds gained today. While Hydropower gained the most 4.81%, Trading lost the most 4.07%.
