NEPSE Loses 77.33 Points and Closes at 2,510.73; All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,510.73 today after losing 77.33 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 69.51 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,588.24 and did not trade anywhere higher than that. While it went as low as 2,482.14, it ultimately closed at 2,510.73.

A total of 9,575,601 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 3.783 Arba in the turnover amount. This is still higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 2.96 Arba. 221 scrips traded hands via 54,452 transactions.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.12 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,431 per share. The units of Global IME Samunnat Scheme 1 (GIMES1) traded the most.

Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSLB) gained the most 4.49%. Meanwhile, Nepal Hydro Developer Limited (NHDL) lost the most 9.77%.

All sectors closed red today. Finance lost the most 5.09%.
