NEPSE Loses 70.01 Points Again and Closes at 2,615.40; All Sectors Take Brutal Hits

The NEPSE index closed at 2,615.40 today after losing 70.01 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 73.05 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,683.60 and made the intraday high at 2,694.97. However, it began to lose from there, going as low as 2,602.38. The index then ultimately closed at 2,615.40.

A total of 13,034,828 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 5.745 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.120 Arba. 218 scrips traded hands via 75,374 transactions.

Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 18.82 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 303 per share. Its shares also traded the most.

Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB) and Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) technically hit the 10% positive circuit breaker today while three companies have technically hit the negative circuit breaker.

All sectors closed red today. Finance lost the most 7.37%.
