NEPSE Loses 5.53 Points In Last 2 Working Days; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs 2.85 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,072.24 today after losing 4.73 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.23%. The index lost 0.80 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,078.25 and went intraday high of 2,084.92. In contrast, it went as low as 2,064.52 and ultimately closed at 2,072.24.
283 scrips traded hands via 54,943 transactions. A total of 7,988,986 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.85 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.79 Arba.
Himalayan Life Insurance Limited (HLI) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.78 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 490 per share.
Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) and NIBL Samriddhi Fund -2 (NIBSF2) gained the highest 10% each and hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Singati Hydro Energy Limited (SHEL) lost the highest 5.96% today.
Four sector indices closed green, "Development Bank" gained the highest 3.42% while "Hotel and Tourism" lost the highest 1.36 points today.
