NEPSE Loses 51.65 Points and Closes at 2,862.18; All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index lost a significant 51.65 points today and closed at 2,862.18. The index opened at 2,939.04 and did not trade higher than that. While it went as low as 2,857.17, it ultimately closed at 2,862.18.

19,417,532 shares traded hands via 91,075 transactions. The trading of 218 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 8.362 Arba. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 11.619 Arba.

While the float index lost 3.82 points and closed at 197.54, the Sensitive index is at 528.97 after losing 7.37 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 54.3 crores.

Radhi Bidyut Company Limited (RADHI) is the highest gainer today with a 9.71% intraday gain. Ngadi Group Power Limited (NGPL) is the second-highest gainer with a 9.09% gain.

On the other side of things, Kalika Power Company Limited (KPCL) lost the most 5.6% and closed at Rs. 438 per share. The second-highest loser today is Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) with a 5.48% loss.

All sectors have closed red today, with Development Bank losing the most 3.49%, followed by Finance that lost 2.9%.
