NEPSE Loses 49.04 Points and Closes at 2,584.61; All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,584.61 today after losing 49.04 points from yesterday's closing. The index had gained 5.28 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,633.63 and created the intraday high at 2,641.96. While it went as low as 2,580.68, it ultimately closed at 2,584.61.

A total of 7,932,731 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.413 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 2.742 Arba. 231 scrips traded hands via 47,864 transactions.

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.43 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 620 per share. The units of NMB50 traded the most.

Nyadi Hydropower Company Limited (NYADI) and Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) technically gained the most 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) lost the most 6.8%.

All sectors have lost today. Development Bank lost the most 3.82%.
