The NEPSE index lost 4.73 points (0.3%) today and ultimately closed at 1,560.83.
Overall 11.89 points volatility was witnessed in the trading hours, with the highest point being 1,569.31 and the lowest being 1,557.42.
6,997,420 shares traded hands. In comparison,19,972,311 shares were traded yesterday. 30,596 transactions produced a total turnover of Rs. 1.69 Arba. 191 scrips were traded.
The float index lost 0.31 points and closed at 108.40 while the Sensitive index is at 309.60 after losing 0.87 points.
Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC)'s shares produced the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 9.32 crores. Its shares also traded the most. Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) gained the most 9.63% and Panchthar Power Company Limited (PPCL) lost the most 5.17%.
Only two sectors gained today while all others lost. Finance gained the most 1.49% and Trading lost the most 1.35%.
