NEPSE Loses 45.06 Points and Closes at 2,854.76; Twelve of Thirteen Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index lost 45.06 points today and closed at 2,854.76. The index opened at 2,915.56 and immediately made the intraday high at 2,929.70. While it went as low as 2,843.17, it ultimately closed at 2,854.76.
26,021,104 shares traded hands via 92,192 transactions. The trading of 229 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 9.98 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 8.061 Arba.
The float index is at 198.08 after losing 3.09 points and the Sensitive index is at 534.81 after losing 8.62 points.
Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NUBL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 47.26 crores.
Samriddhi Finance Company Limited (SFCL) gained the most 5.24% and Union Hydropower Company Limited (UNHPL) lost the most 5.33%.
Only the Mutual Fund gained a minimal 0.16% among sectors today. Among all other sectors that lost, Hotels and Tourism lost the most 2.9%.
