NEPSE loses 39.98 points on the first day of the week; All Sectors close Red

The NEPSE index lost 39.98 points today and closed at 1,998.65. The index opened at 2,047.12 and lost in gradual decline throughout the day. The intraday movement was downwards.

8,177,353 shares traded hands via 42,430 transactions. Trading of 204 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.62 Arba. While the float index lost 2.58 points and closed at 137.07, the Sensitive index is at 381.43 after losing 5.33 points.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 67.57 crores. The shares of Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) traded the most.

Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) technically hit the 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) lost the most 5.54%.

All the sectors lost today, from which the Hotels sector lost the most 4.66%.
