NEPSE Loses 38.35 Points and Closes at 2,898.31; All Sector Indices Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,898.31 today after losing 38.35 points from yesterday's closing. This is a loss of 1.31% on the index. The index had lost 10.78 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,945.63 and made the intraday high at 2,950.14. While it went as low as 2,890, it ultimately closed at 2,898.31.

228 scrips traded hands via 84,233 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 11,837,215 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 6.021 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 8.443 Arba.

Api Power Company Limited (API) had the highest turnover of Rs. 20.32 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 544 per share. The shares of Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Ltd (HIDCL) traded the most.

Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) gained the highest 9.97% and closed at Rs. 287.80. Meanwhile, Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) lost the highest 4.34%, hence closing at Rs. 353.

All sector indices closed red today. The sector "Others" lost the highest 2.67%.
