NEPSE Loses 35.89 Points from All-Time High; 12 of 13 Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index lost a massive 35.89 points and closed at 2,699.51. The index opened at 2,758.86 and only lost thereafter. Thus, the market-open itself is the intraday-high. Meanwhile, the index has closed very near the intraday-low at 2,696.43.

19,528,656 shares traded hands via 93,568 transactions. The trading of 207 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 8.8 Arba.

While the float index lost 2.73 points and closed at 186.64, the Sensitive index is at 486.16 after losing 6.29 points.

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 87.62 crores. Its shares also traded the most today.

The top three highest gainers have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today, one of which is JLI, an IPO rookie. Meanwhile, Goodwill Finance Company Limited (GFCL) lost the most 5.09% today.

Only Mutual Funds gained a minimal 0.46% today. Of all other sectors that lost, Trading has lost the most 3.27%.
