NEPSE loses 3.33 points and closes at 1,637.63 with total turnover of Rs. 2.45 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,637.63 points today, losing 3.33 points from yesterday's close. The index opened at 1,644.01 in the morning. Total volatility of 11.26 points was witnessed during market hours today, with the highest point being 1,646.90 and the lowest being 1,635.64.

6,937,454 shares traded hands via 34,453 transactions. 197 scrips traded to produce a total daily turnover of Rs. 2.45 Arba.

The Float index lost 0.31 points and closed at 114.48 while the Sensitive index is at 325.46 after losing 1.17 points.

Prime Commercial Bank Limited (PCBL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 12.4 crores. Its shares also traded the most today.

A total of four companies technically hit a 10% positive circuit today as of the market close. They are Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC), Sarathi Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SNLB), Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL), and Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL).

Meanwhile, Chhimek Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited Promoter Share (CBBLPO) lost the most 7.01%, followed by General Insurance Company Nepal Limited (GIC) that lost 3.14%.

Eight sectors gained and four others closed red today. While Trading gained the most 3.06%, Banking lost the most 0.88%.
