NEPSE Loses 32.51 Points and Closes at 2,633.42; Three Scrips Hit Positive Circuit Nonetheless

The NEPSE index closed at 2,633.42 today after losing 32.51 points from yesterday's closing. The index had gained 50.58 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,667.45 and made the intraday high at 2,687.02. However, it began to lose from there, and the index went as low as 2,630.58, ultimately closing at 2,633.42.
A total of 7,321,014 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.7 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.028 Arba. 225 scrips traded hands via 49,835 transactions.
Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 492 per share. The shares of Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MEGA) traded the most.
Three scrips have technically hit the 10% positive circuit breaker today while Goodwill Finance Company Limited (GFCL) lost the most 6.86%.
Only three sectors gained today. Trading gained the most 3.93% and Development Bank lost the most 3.18%.
