NEPSE Loses 24.88 Points From All-Time High With Highest Daily Turnover in History

The NEPSE index closed at 3,154.03 today after losing 24.88 points from the all-time high created yesterday.
The index opened at 3,170.65 and made the intraday high at 3,187.14. While it went as low as 3,105.32, it ultimately closed at 3,154.03.
A total of 35,550,688 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 21.647 Arba in the turnover amount. This is the highest intraday turnover ever recorded in the history of NEPSE. The previous record was created on June 13 with Rs. 19.55 in turnover amount. 222 scrips traded hands via 189,736 transactions.
Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 1.05 Arba closing at a market price of Rs. 538 per share. Its shares also traded the most.
A total of three scrips have technically gained 10% today, which is the highest permissible intraday gain for a scrip. On the other side of things, NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF) lost the most 8.54%.
Only three sectors gained today while all others closed red. While Manufacturing and Production gained the most 2.35%, Hydropower lost the most 4.13%.
