NEPSE loses 2.39 points and closes at 1,640.64; Sanima General Insurance hits 10% positive circuit on the first day

The NEPSE index closed at 1,640.64 points today, losing 2.39 points from yesterday's close. The index opened at 1,645.53 in the morning. Total volatility of 7.01 points was witnessed during market hours today, with the highest point being 1,645.7 and the lowest being 1,638.69.
5,631,604 shares traded hands via 24,082 transactions. 202 scrips traded to produce a total daily turnover of a little over Rs. 1.75 Arba.
The Float index lost 0.22 points and closed at 114.35 while the Sensitive index is at 326.49 after losing 0.11 points.
Prime Commercial Bank Limited (PCBL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 9.05 crores. The shares of Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) traded the most today.
Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) and Sanima General Insurance Limited (SGI) hit a 10% positive circuit today. Today was SGI's first day of trading. It opened at Rs. 311 and closed at 342 per share.
Meanwhile, Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) lost the most 5.17%, followed by Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Share (RBCLPO) that lost 4.19%.
Non-life Insurance lost the most 1.07% among seven sectors that lost today. In the five sectors that gained, Trading gained the most 2.07%.
