NEPSE loses 22.7 points on the last trading day of the week; Microfinance stands as the only sector that gained today

The NEPSE index lost 22.7 points and closed at 2,032.51 today.

The index opened at 2,058.72 today and made the intraday-high at a slightly higher level of 2,059.80. The intraday-low at 2,025.19 is also only a few points lower from the day's close.

14,114,460 shares traded hands via 61,604 transactions. Trading of 195 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 6.76 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.14 Arba.

The float index lost 1.42 points and closed at 137.92 while the Sensitive index is at 385.94 after losing 1.04 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 80.25 crores. The shares of NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF) traded the most today.

The top four companies in the top-gainers list hit the 10% positive circuit today. This is the list of the top gainers:

Meanwhile, Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) lost the most 7.51%.

Only Microfinance gained a minimal 0.28% today. Meanwhile, Trading lost the most 2.79%.
