NEPSE Loses 21.58 Points and Closes at 2,485.09; Top 3 Highest Gainers Hit Positive Circuit Breakers

The NEPSE index lost 21.58 points today and closed at 2,485.09. The index opened at 2,519.96 and briefly made an intraday high at 2,525.30. The index lost in intraday action today, going as low as 2,473.57. With this, total volatility of 51.73 points was observed in the trading session today.

11,778,820 shares traded hands via 53,970 transactions. The trading of 211 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5 Arba.

While the float index lost 1.38 points and closed at 171.40, the Sensitive index is at 449.68 after losing 1.78 points.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 42.78 crores. The units of NMB50 traded the most.

Meanwhile, National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) lost the most 5.52%.
