NEPSE Loses 20.16 Points in Last Trading Day Of The Week: Laxmi Sunrise Promoter Scrip Sees Highest Turnover

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 1,874.60 points, as the index experienced a substantial loss of 20.16 points, or 1.06% compared to the previous day's closing. The index witnessed a gain of 5.16 points yesterday.
The trading started with the index opening at 1,895.28 hitting an intraday low of 1,870.19, whereas the intraday high was 1,897.60.
During today's trading, there were 292 different stocks traded in 62,046 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 7,558,542 units with a total turnover of Rs. 1.70 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 28.72 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.06 Kharba.
Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited Promoter Share (LSLPO) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 16.38 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 100.
Similarly, two companies showed the highest gain today. Bhagawati Hydropower and Mid Solu Hydropower hitting the positive circuit for the day.
On the flip side, City Hotel Limited (CITY) had the most substantial loss at 9.09%.
In terms of sector indices, indices except "Mutual Fund" all other indices closed red. "Mutual Fund" gained the highest 0.16% while "Hotel and Tourism " recorded the most significant loss of 3% for the day.
