NEPSE Loses 18.24 Points From All-Time High; 3 Hydropower Companies Hit Negative 10% Circuit Breaker

The NEPSE index closed at 3,180.78 today after losing 18.24 points from yesterday's closing.
The index opened at 3,208.53 and made the intraday high at 3,226.89. While it went as low as 3,178.58, it ultimately closed at 3,180.78.
A total of 30,912,697 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 20.499 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 21.313 Arba. 229 scrips traded hands via 188,017 transactions.
Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 1.16 Arba closing at a market price of Rs. 830 per share. The shares of National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) traded the most.
Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JBLB) technically gained 10% today, which is the highest permissible intraday gain for a scrip. On the other side of things, three hydropower companies have lost 10% today.
Five sectors gained while all others closed red. Non-Life Insurance gained the most 3.2% and Investment lost the most 3.99%.
