NEPSE Loses 17.79 Points After Yesterday's Historic Feat; Only Two Sectors Close Green Today

The NEPSE index lost 17.79 points today and closed at 2,423.09. This is 0.73% lower than the all-time high created yesterday.

The index opened at 2,461.42 today. Although the index went as high as 2,462.28, it gradually lost and made an intraday low at 2,419.89. The index then ultimately closed at 2,423.09.

19,606,555 shares traded hands via 63,818 transactions. The trading of 207 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 8.27 Arba. While the float index lost 0.89 points and closed at 165.60, the Sensitive index is at 447.24 after losing 4.58 points.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 1.45 Arba. The units of Nabil Equity Fund (NEF) traded the most.

A total of 4 companies have technically hit a 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) lost the most 4.95%.

Only Hotels and Finance gained today, with Hotels gaining the most 2.68%. Among all the sectors that lost, Trading lost the most 3.1%.
