NEPSE Loses 16.97 Points and Closes at 2,801.13; Only Two Sectors Gain Minimally

The NEPSE index lost 16.97 points today and closed at 2,801.13. The index opened at 2,815.49 and made the intraday high at 2,825.74. While it went as low as 2,794.38, it ultimately closed at 2,801.13.

11,664,207 shares traded hands via 46,183 transactions. The trading of 222 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.585 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.224 Arba.

The float index is at 193.31 after losing 1.02 points and the Sensitive index is at 525.24 after losing 1.5 points.

Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 43.54 crores.

Century Commercial Bank Limited Promoter Share (CCBLPO) gained the most 3.57% while Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited (UPPER) lost the most 5.45%.

The Development Bank and Microfinance sector gained today and all others closed red. While Microfinance gained the most 0.38%, the HydroPower sector lost the most 2.16%.
