NEPSE loses 15.57 points; Nepal Reinsurance Company (NRIC) with highest individual scrip turnover in NEPSE's history

The NEPSE index lost 15.57 points and closed at 2,055.45 today.
The index opened at 2,090.79 and made an intraday high of 2,118.41. Meanwhile, with an intraday low of 2,040.99, total volatility of 77.42 points was witnessed.
15,889,560 shares traded hands via 64,426 transactions. Trading of 200 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 8.02 Arba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 1.11 Arba. This is the highest individual scrip turnover ever recorded in NEPSE's history if we exclude the bulk trading of promoter shares. The shares of the NMB50 traded the most today.

Everest Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (EICPO) and Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited (UPPER) hit a 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) lost the most 6.97%.
Only Hydropower and Microfinance gained today, with Microfinance gaining the most 0.95% today. Among other sectors that lost, Trading lost the most 6.94%.
