NEPSE Loses 15.5 Points and Closes at 2,720.43, Eleven of Thirteen Sector Indices Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,720.43 today after losing 15.5 points from yesterday's closing. The index had gained 17.42 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,732.48 today and created the intraday high at 2,747.11. While it went as low as 2,716.44, it ultimately closed at 2,720.43.

228 scrips traded hands via 48,911 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,247,774 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.131 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 3.212 Arba.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 19.37 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,726 per share. The shares of Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) traded the most.

Dibyashwori Hydropower Ltd. (DHPL) and United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited (UMRH) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker.

Meanwhile, 10% Prabhu Bank Debenture 2084 (PBLD84) has lost the highest 3.96%.

Two of thirteen sector indices closed green today. Hydropower gained the highest 1.07% while "Others" lost the highest 2%.
