NEPSE Loses 13.79 Points and Closes at 2,585.28; MLBSL and BBC Hit Positive Circuit Breakers

The NEPSE index lost 13.79 points and closed at 2,585.28 today. The index opened at 2,608.7 and slid down to as low as 2,564.73. The index showed signs of a bullish reversal by making the intraday high at 2,622.43. However, the bears eventually dominated and had the index close at 2,585.28.

8,965,588 shares traded hands via 46,959 transactions. The trading of 215 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 3.99 Arba.

While the float index lost 1.19 points and closed at 178.43, the Sensitive index is at 465.11 after losing 2.16 points.

Nepal Credit & Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 28.28 crores. Its shares also traded the most.

Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBSL) and Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) have hit the 10% positive circuit breakers for the day.

On the other side of things, Pokhara Finance Limited (PFL) has lost the most 6.15%.

Only three sectors gained today while ten others closed red. Manufacturing and Products gained the highest 0.98% and Finance lost the most 1.24%.
