NEPSE loses 13.37 points and closes at 1,576.27; Finance sector the only gainer in a day with Rs. 2.39 Arba turnover

The NEPSE index lost 13.37 points from last week's close and ultimately closed at 1,576.27.

NEPSE opened at 1,594.01, gained a tiny bit, and made the intraday high of 1,594.36. The intraday low of 1,575.35 is also only slightly lower than the market close.

9,281,478 shares exchanged hands via 37,515 transactions. The trading of 193 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs. 2.39 Arba.

The float index lost 0.89 points and closed at 109.66 while the Sensitive index is 311.73 at after losing 3.01 points.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 10.06 crores. Meanwhile, the shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.

ICFC Finance Limited (ICFC) gained the most 9.82% followed by Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) that gained 8.42%.

On the other hand, Api Power Company Limited (API) lost the most 7.14%, followed by Khani Khola Hydropower Company Limited (KKHC) which lost 6.67%.

Finance gained 2.08% while all other sectors lost. Hotels lost the most 2.14%.
