NEPSE Loses 13.09 Points From All-Time High; Intraday Turnover Makes a New All-Time High

The NEPSE index lost 13.09 points today and closed at 2,780.81. The index had been breaking records and creating all-time highs for the last three days. The index opened at 2,816.26 and made the intraday high at 2,821.86. While the index went as low as 2,769.72, it ultimately closed at 2,780.81.

25,121,554 shares traded hands via 1,32,369 transactions. The trading of 214 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 11.958 Arba. This is the highest turnover in the history of NEPSE. The last all-time high record was broken just yesterday.

While the float index lost 0.68 points and closed at 190.74, the Sensitive index is at 496.14 after losing 1.08 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 55.69 crores.

A total of five scrips have technically closed at the upper limit of 10% gain today.

On the other side of things, Ngadi Group Power Limited (NGPL) lost the most 6.88%.

Five sectors gained while all others closed red. Trading gained the most 0.86% while Hydropower lost the most 2.11%.
