NEPSE Loses 11.96 Points and Closes at 2,801.56, NTC Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The NEPSE index closed at 2,801.56 today after losing 11.96 points from yesterday's closing. This is a loss of 0.43% on the index. The index had lost 22.06 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,813.33 today and made the intraday high at 2,824.75. While it went as low as 2,791.10, it ultimately closed at 2,801.56.
227 scrips traded hands via 49,005 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,950,838 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.829 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 3.471 Arba.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 25.48 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,624.80 per share. The shares of National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) were traded the most.
Nabil Equity Fund (NEF) gained the highest 2.76% and closed at Rs. 11.15.
Meanwhile, Mithila LaghuBitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBBL) has lost the highest 64. MLBBL closed at Rs. 1,656 today.
Three sectors have gained while ten have closed red. "Trading" has gained the highest 1.57% and "Hydropower" has lost the highest 0.81%.
