NEPSE Loses 11.78 Points and Closes at 2,822.73; Market Sees Lowest Turnover of the Last 39 Trading Sessions

The NEPSE index lost 11.78 points today and closed at 2,822.73. The index opened at 2,845.50 and made the intraday high at 2,846.70. While it went as low as 2,814.82, it ultimately closed at 2,822.73.

10,063,636 shares traded hands via 52,846 transactions. The trading of 224 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.58 Arba. This is the lowest turnover reported in the last 39 trading sessions.

The float index is at 194.82 after losing 1.21 points and the Sensitive index is at 528.41 after losing 0.04 points.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 41.2 crores.

Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) has technically closed at the upper limit of 10% intraday gain while Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) lost the most 6.36%.

Five sectors gained today and all others closed red. While Manufacturing gained the most 2.36%, the Finance sector lost the most 2.61%.
