NEPSE Loses 11.27 Points in Today's Trading Session: SONA Sees Highest Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 11.27 points, or 0.59%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,896.67 points.  The previous trading day saw a gain of 47.75 points for the index. 

The index opened trading at 1909.97 and had an intraday low of 1,889.71 and an intraday high of 1,926.52.

There were 290 different stocks traded in 52,480 transactions during today's session. 6,017,397 shares were traded, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 1.75 arba. With a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.20 Kharba, the market capitalization was Rs. 29.24 Kharba. 

 

At a market price of Rs. 288, Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) finished with the highest turnover of Rs. 7.77 crores.

Likewise, today's highest gainer is Upper Syange Hydropower Limited (USHL), at 10%.

 

Conversely, today's biggest loss is recorded by Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS), at 8.04%.

Today, all sector indicies closed in the red, except for "Hotels And Tourism Index, Investment Index, Mutual Fund, Trading Index". "Investment Index" saw the most gain of 0.49%, whereas "Life Insurance" saw a loss of 0.89%.
