NEPSE Gains 0.23 Points; Development Banks, Hydropower, and Finance Sectors Gain Huge

The NEPSE index closed at 3,160.31 today after gaining 0.23 points from yesterday's closing.
The index opened at 3,165.68 and made the intraday high at 3,176.31. While it went as low as 3,154.98, it ultimately closed at 3,160.31.
A total of 30,613,439 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 18.204 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 15.930 Arba. 221 scrips traded hands via 1,61,721 transactions.
Api Power Company Limited (API) had the highest turnover of Rs. 86.38 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 640 per share. Its shares also traded the most.
A total of 16 scrips have technically gained 10% today, which is the highest permissible intraday gain for a scrip. On the other side of things, NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF) lost the most 3.86%.
Six sectors gained and seven others closed red. While Development Bank gained the most 5.17%, Others lost the most 1.71%.
