NEPSE Instructs Stockbrokers to Facilitate Timely Payment and Settlement to Smoothen "Trade from Home"

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has issued a list of instructions for stockbroker companies in order to minimize in-person interaction and curb virus spread.

1) Stockbrokers are instructed to minimize in-person interaction with the exchange as much as possible. Documents to be submitted to the exchange should be emailed.

2) The bank guarantee to be submitted to the exchange should be taken from the respective bank via email. The document should then be emailed to both support@nepalstock.com and account@nepalstock.com.

3) The trading request of promoter shares should be submitted to the exchange only after all necessary documents are collected.

4) Replies to NEPSE's letter and other details should be sent electronically to surveillance@nepalstock.com.

5) All stockbroker companies are required to follow health precautions forwarded by the government and WHO.

6) Stockbroker companies are instructed to facilitate timely payment and settlement of shares for investors to smoothen the digital operation of the capital market.

7) Stockbroker companies are instructed to encourage online trading and payment among employees.
