NEPSE Index Witnessed a Moderate Gain of 11.77 Points; Intraday Turnover At 5.44 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain, gaining 11.77 points (0.44%) to close at 2,629.81. This follows a 36.25 -point loss in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,611.03 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,629.94 and a low of 2,605.32 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 5.44 Arba, with 17,270,449 shares traded across 356 companies through 51,716 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.23 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.25 Kharba.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 35.81 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 702.00 .

Nepal Lube Oil Limited (NLO) led the gainer's list with a 12.47% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 271.30.

Meanwhile, Mid Solu Hydropower Limited (MSHL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 11.58%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 550.00.

Among sectors, the Manufacturing And Processing recorded the highest loss, losing by 1.83%, while Non Life Insurance recorded the least loss, down 0.33%.
